Researchers present the results of a Germany-wide, representative primary data collection in the non-residential buildings sector. From this, the characteristics of the total stock of non-residential buildings in Germany can be extrapolated in a statistically valid way.
In the "Non-residential buildings research database" project, researchers from the research consortium consisting of the Institute for Housing and the Environment (IWU) as the consortium coordinator, the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IÖR) and the University of Wuppertal (BUW) conducted their investigations.
