Around 130 speakers will be discussing on the two days of the event on six stages in the plenum, in practical theme sessions and in the Speakers' Corner. The guidance meeting of the Federal association of the energy and water economy registered association. (BDEW) is the largest industry meeting of the energy industry in Germany and Europe.
The following topics are on the agenda in the plenary discussion rounds:
- digitisation and innovation,
- 65% Renewable energies,
- Artificial intelligence,
- Eco mobility
- Global perspective for climate protection, business and prosperity
Prominent speakers from the world of politics are also invited: Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister of the Environment Svenja Schulze, Federal Minister of Transport Andreas Scheuer and the Federal President of BÜNDNIS 90 / DIE GRÜNENEN Annalena Baerbock.
The thematic sessions cover a broad spectrum of topics. Among other things:
- "New" distribution,

- acceptance of infrastructure projects,
- broadband expansion,

In addition, the BDEW Congress offers a special programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In the formats "SME Reception" and "SME Talk", participants will have the opportunity to talk about the current challenges and the future role of SMEs.
